And in the future they’re together and they’re just spread out on a motel room bed, waiting for Sam to get back from his arduous, page-by-page research from the local library.
Dean is jokingly poking the growing fat on Cas’ sides because he eats now more than ever, even if he doesn’t need to, because he never misses dinner with the Winchesters no matter how shabby and ill-smelling the diner they’re at is. Cas furrows his brows, muttering furiously, “I would like to remind you I gripped you tight and raised you from perdition.”
And Dean would just smirk lazily and burrow into the space of Cas’ neck, muttering back, “Yeah, and I gripped you tight and raised you from purgatory.”
